06 November, 2025Spanish company MADIT, specialized in metal additive manufacturing using selective laser melting (SLM) technology, continues to reinforce its position as a leading industrial player in Europe. Just five years after its founding, MADIT has become the largest provider of metal additive manufacturing services in Spain, driven by continuous growth and strategic investments.
The company has recently relocated to a new 2,100 m² facility in Zamudio, near Bilbao, to accommodate increased demand and expand its production capacity. Over the past year, MADIT has more than doubled its equipment fleet, growing from five to thirteen Renishaw laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) systems. Its workforce has also doubled, reaching 30 employees and strengthening its engineering and operational capabilities.
This expansion reflects a strategic shift from prototyping to serial production. MADIT now supplies high-performance metal components for demanding sectors such as automotive, energy, general industry, and aerospace.
Beyond manufacturing, MADIT offers in-house engineering, post-processing, and stringent quality control, ensuring the reliability and repeatability of parts for critical applications.
To enhance its international presence, the company is participating for the second consecutive year as an exhibitor at Formnext, the leading global trade fair for additive manufacturing. This platform enables MADIT to engage with international clients and showcase its technological capabilities.
MADIT is recognized for its fast prototyping services — offering 24-hour turnaround — and its focus on flexible and cost-efficient serial production. It works with a broad range of materials, including aluminum, various steels, titanium, and Inconel 718, enabling it to meet diverse technical requirements.
With a solid foundation and growing reputation, MADIT aims to become one of the key players in the European metal additive manufacturing landscape in the near future.
