Renishaw will be exhibiting at Formnext 2026, from 17 to 20 November in Frankfurt, where it will demonstrate the capabilities of LIBERTAS™, its software technology designed to expand design freedom and optimise metal additive manufacturing processes.
Developed for the RenAM 500 systems, LIBERTAS™ enables dynamic control of laser power, reducing the need for support structures and improving the surface finish of parts. This capability helps to reduce material consumption, post-processing operations and manufacturing costs.
The solution is also compatible with TEMPUS™, a technology that enables the laser to operate whilst a new layer of powder is being laid down, reducing manufacturing times by up to 50 per cent.
Integrated into the QuantAM software, LIBERTAS™ can be implemented without additional hardware investment, facilitating its use in various production environments.
Visitors will be able to discover these innovations in Hall 11, Stand C11.
