MELTIOIS STRENGTHENING ITS SALES NETWORK IN THE UNITED STATES WITH THE APPOINTMENT OF AEC AS AN OFFICIAL SALES AND INTEGRATION PARTNER

The appointment of AEC as Meltio’s new official sales and integration partner in the United States represents a step towards driving the adoption of metal additive manufacturing solutions in the US industrial market. The agreement, announced on 17 February 2026 in Greer (South Carolina) and Linares, will strengthen the distribution, systems integration and technical support of the company’s technology in this market.

Meltio has developed a metal 3D printing solution based on laser wire deposition, a technology designed for industrial applications that uses welding wire as the filler material. This approach facilitates manufacturing, repair and hybrid production processes, with a focus on operational safety, process cleanliness and cost efficiency.

As part of this collaboration, AEC will take on both commercial and integration roles, with the aim of establishing an industrial ecosystem around Meltio’s technology. The initiative will be carried out in partnership with technology centres, machine tool manufacturers, robotics integrators, academic institutions and industrial clients, facilitating the integration of these solutions into automated, production-ready environments.

According to Meltio, its technology is already in use in industrial installations in the United States within demanding sectors such as oil & gas, energy and heavy industry, where metal additive manufacturing is helping to reduce lead times, optimise material usage and improve operational efficiency.
