03 November, 2026The LORTEK technology centre will take part in Formnext 2026, from 17 to 20 November in Frankfurt, where it will present three developments aimed at improving the precision, control and digitalisation of metal additive manufacturing processes.
Among the new products is Digital AM Core, a platform that combines machine vision, melt pool monitoring and artificial intelligence to detect anomalies during manufacturing and visualise the progress of the process in 3D, facilitating the traceability of components.
LORTEK will also showcase Compliance Tooling DED, a tooling system that integrates mechanical compensation and active thermal control to reduce deformation and residual stresses in large-format metal parts.
In addition, it will present a semi-automated repair method using DED-LB, which combines 3D scanning, geometric reconstruction and the generation of deposition trajectories to restore damaged components and extend their service life.
These solutions reinforce the centre’s capabilities in additive manufacturing, smart monitoring and digital engineering.
