23 October, 2026Meltio will be taking part in Formnext 2026, from 17 to 20 November in Frankfurt, where it will exhibit a competition-spec Fiat Abarth 500 fitted with a high-performance exhaust manifold manufactured using Meltio’s metal 3D printing technology by the company DMZ.
The component, developed using Directed Energy Deposition (DED) technology, has proven its reliability after covering more than 10,000 kilometres, withstanding the high temperatures and stresses typical of the automotive sector.
Thanks to additive manufacturing, DMZ has been able to develop complex geometries that optimise engine exhaust flow and reduce assembly time from eight hours to just one, meeting the requirements of the Stellantis Group.
In addition, Meltio will showcase its most advanced solutions through live printing demonstrations and industrial applications in sectors such as defence, aerospace, energy, and oil and gas.
Visitors will be able to discover these innovations in Hall 12.0, Stand C119.
