13 November, 2025The next edition of Formnext will be particularly relevant for the Spanish additive manufacturing sector: Spain will be the Guest Country in 2025, a recognition that will place national technology in the international spotlight. In this context, ADDIMAT has designed a programme of activities aimed at showing the world the strength, innovative capacity and cohesion of its industrial community.
The association will coordinate the Spain Pavilion, a 200 m² space promoted together with ICEX that will bring together leading companies from the AM ecosystem and where the guide to Spanish exhibitors will be distributed. In addition, ADDIMAT has prepared special initiatives that seek to reinforce the visibility of the sector and bring the most advanced solutions developed in our country to the international public.
Among the planned activities is the celebration of ADDIMAT's 10th anniversary, which will take place on Wednesday, 19 November, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the group stand. This event is open not only to the ADDIMAT community, but also to international partners and visitors to the fair. The association will also organise guided tours that will allow attendees to visit the Spanish Pavilion and learn about the technologies and innovations of the participating companies.
In this context of international visibility, the 2025 edition also comes with personal recognition that highlights Spain's role on the global additive manufacturing map. ADDIMAT director Naiara Zubizarreta has been selected as one of the finalists for the AMbassador Award 2025, the international award that recognises the achievements of individuals who have promoted additive manufacturing globally. Zubizarreta will participate in an AM Voices session on Thursday 20 November at 12:00 noon alongside the other two finalists, where they will share their vision of the present and future of the technology.
Spain's presence as Partner Country will also feature the ADDIMAT group stand with prominent institutional support and a programme of activities aimed at showcasing to the world the technological capabilities, robust value chain and collaborative spirit of the Spanish additive manufacturing ecosystem.
