ADDIMAT HOLDS ITS MEETING IN JAÉN, INCLUDING VISITS TO THE ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING ECOSYSTEM

On 14 and 15 April, ADDIMAT held its Board meeting in Linares (Jaén), at a gathering hosted at the Sicnova and Meltio facilities, which combined strategic working sessions with a visit to one of the country’s most significant additive manufacturing ecosystems.

The day’s proceedings on 14 April began with a meeting of the Board of Directors, followed by a strategic reflection session focusing on the sector’s development and future courses of action. Attendees then visited the facilities of Meltio and CAF Digital Manufacturing to gain first-hand insight into technological developments and industrial applications in additive manufacturing.

The programme continued on the 15th with visits to Novaindef and the CETEMET technology centre, providing a comprehensive overview of the region’s industrial ecosystem, ranging from technological development to its application in production environments.

ADDIMAT will hold its General Assembly on 8 May at the Kursaal, followed by Advanced Manufacturing Day, a conference addressing the economic and industrial context, technological developments and future challenges facing the sector, thereby consolidating its position as one of the main meeting points for the advanced manufacturing industry.
