MTORRES GROUP is engaged in the design, manufacture and installation of special capital goods for the manufacture of aeronautical components, as well as toolings and systems to assemble these components. The product range virtually covers the entire production process, from the rolling of advanced compound materials, component machining, to the assembly of the end product, both in metal and in compound materials, making the most complete catalogue of product and executions for the aerospace sector.
The rolling of compound materials (carbon fibre, fibre glass,…) on rigid moulds is framed within the additive manufacturing processes in the aerospace sector. Our developments include two specific types of product: Torreslayup (ATL, Automated Tape Laying machine) and Torresfiberlayup (AFP, Automated Fiber Placement machine) that incorporate disruptive design concepts that trigger the cutting and addition of material at maximum speed, allowing the machine to intake and discharge materials coherently and with precision.
