AIJU

AIJU is a technological center aimed at boosting the competitiveness of companies through the implementation of state-of-the-art technological innovations in their products and processes. To this end, it makes available a wide range of technological services aimed at improving the quality of its products and business competitiveness.

Among its lines of activity and research, AIJU has been working since 1998 with additive manufacturing technologies, and contributes to optimizing the process of creating and developing products from the idea to their arrival on the market. In this area, AIJU supports innovation in companies through the following actions:

• Development of R&D projects
• Technical advice for the correct selection of materials and manufacturing technology.
• Review of files and/or redesign for Additive Manufacturing
• Development of new formulations of plastic materials for additive manufacturing (filament extrusion or powder bed fusion (laser sintering).
• Support for standardization in additive manufacturing processes. AIJU holds the Secretariat of the National Technical Committee CTN 324 "Additive Manufacturing" and is an active member of the European and international committees CEN/TC 438 and ISO TC261 of additive manufacturing.
• Delivery of courses and training in Additive Manufacturing, both customized and regulated training.

AIJU makes technological solutions for additive manufacturing available to companies to respond to all types of industrial and consumer sectors, such as automotive, toys, aerospace, household items, medical, etc.
